How It Should Have Ended

I thought about posting something more Ash Wednesday appropriate today, maybe something about writerly Lenten sacrifices or whatnot, but honestly, the past four days were such a bummer that I needed some cheering up. Nothing screams Mardi Gras weekend like staying home and cleaning. *yawn*

If you haven't checked out the How It Should Have Ended YouTube channel yet, you need to. They post hilarious alternate movie endings pointing out plot holes and the like. My favs are the Dark Knight, Iron Man, Star Trek, and oh yes, the Empire Strikes Back.

Fair warning. Some videos are funnier, and more kid/work friendly, than others. And to get the Superman/Batman/Ironman gag on the superhero vids, you might want to watch them in order. ;)

  1. I watched some of those with my sister and most were pretty good. It's funny too how sometimes they point out something for a movie you've seen a thousand times and it makes you think, "Yeah, why didn't I think of that before?"

Oh, and sorry the Mardi Gras weekend wasn't all that eventful...but at least things are clean.

  7. Glad yall liked it. :)

@ Uncle Grumpy Bulldog: Some of the things just hit me when they pointed them out, others I was like, finally, someone else noticed that, too. ;)

@ Angela, yeah, but things didn't stay clean for long. ;)

@ Julia King, okay, that was hilarious. I just wish they'd given the beatboxing chipmunk more camera time. ;)

  8. My favorite is the Harry Potter how it should have ended. Makes so much sense when you think about it, and poor Harry would still have his parents and Sirius!

Wife. Mom of 5. Nerd. Wanna-be Writer. I’m the weird late twenties chick skulking about the YA aisles of my small town library, raising a few eyebrows when I get overly excited about a new John Green novel or a dystopian future where people have to kill each other for funsies. When I'm not reading YA, I'm writing it.
